What is the legal age to purchase vape products in California?
In California, you must be at least 21 years old to purchase any tobacco or vaping products. This is known as California’s Tobacco 21 (T21) law. At our Los Angeles vape shop, we strictly verify the age of every customer before completing any sale.

What forms of ID do you accept for age verification?
We accept the following valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification:
• California Driver’s License or State ID
– U.S. Passport or Passport Card
– U.S. Armed Forces ID
– Valid out-of-state driver’s license
– Other government-issued photo ID with birthdate
We cannot accept expired IDs, photocopies, digital images, student IDs, or any non-government issued identification.
Do I need to show ID for delivery orders?
Yes, absolutely. Federal and California law require adult signature confirmation for all tobacco and vaping product deliveries. An adult 21 years or older must be present with valid government-issued photo ID when the package arrives. Learn more about our vape shipping policy.

What is California’s SB 793 flavor ban?
California Senate Bill 793 prohibits the retail sale of most flavored tobacco products, including flavored e-cigarettes and menthol products. This law went into effect in 2022 and significantly restricts what flavored vape products can be sold in California.
At Los Angeles Vapes, we only sell products that comply with California’s flavor ban regulations. All our California-compliant products appear on the state’s official Unflavored Tobacco List (UTL).
Can I buy flavored vapes in California?
No, California law (SB 793) prohibits the sale and delivery of flavored tobacco products, including:
• Fruit-flavored e-liquids and vapes
– Mint and menthol products
– Candy or dessert-flavored vaping products
– Any product with a characterizing flavor other than tobacco

What is the Unflavored Tobacco List (UTL)?
The Unflavored Tobacco List (UTL) is California’s official registry of tobacco products that are allowed for sale in the state. As of January 1, 2026, retailers may only sell products appearing on this list.

Does California ban online vape sales?
No, online vape sales are not banned in California. However, they are heavily regulated under the PACT Act and California state law. All online sales require:

– Use of authorized private carriers (not USPS, FedEx, or UPS)

Yes, we offer a selection of disposable vapes that comply with California’s flavor ban and are on the state’s Unflavored Tobacco List (UTL). These are convenient, easy-to-use options for both beginners and experienced vapers.
What’s the difference between disposable and refillable vapes?
Disposable vapes are pre-filled, single-use devices that you discard when empty. They’re convenient and require no maintenance.
Refillable vapes (pod systems, tanks, mods) can be refilled with e-liquid and typically have rechargeable batteries. They’re more cost-effective long-term and offer more customization options.

Are your products authentic?
Absolutely. Los Angeles Vapes only sells authentic, lab-tested products from authorized distributors. We never sell counterfeit or unverified products. All products include proper California warning labels and comply with state regulations.

Delivery & Shipping
Do you offer same-day delivery in Los Angeles?
Yes! Orders placed before 3:00 PM PST Monday-Friday qualify for same-day delivery throughout Los Angeles County. Same-day delivery costs $9.99 plus the mandatory $5.99 adult signature fee.

Where do you ship?
We currently ship to select locations in California, Oregon, and Michigan. However, due to varying state and local regulations, we cannot ship to all ZIP codes within these states.
We do not ship to:
• States where online vape sales are prohibited
– PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses
– Areas not serviced by our authorized carriers
Your shipping address will be verified at checkout against our approved delivery zones.
Why can’t you use USPS, FedEx, or UPS?
The PACT Act (Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking Act) prohibits the use of USPS for vape product deliveries. Additionally, FedEx and UPS have company policies that ban vape shipments.
Therefore, Los Angeles Vapes uses specialized, licensed private carriers authorized to deliver tobacco and nicotine products with adult signature confirmation.
What if no one is home to sign for delivery?
Since adult signature (21+) is required by law, if no one is available to sign, the carrier will leave a notice and attempt redelivery. If the package cannot be delivered after multiple attempts, it will be returned to Los Angeles Vapes.
You will be responsible for return shipping fees and a 15% restocking fee. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Is shipping free?
Yes! We offer free shipping on all orders over $200. Orders under $200 have the following shipping costs:
• Same-Day Delivery (LA County): $9.99
– Regional Delivery: $14.99
– Adult Signature Fee (required by law): $5.99

Orders can be cancelled or modified within 1 hour of placement. After that, orders enter our fulfillment process and cannot be changed.
